Overview
Curatorial Note
Released in 1970, Cada vez que nos miramos is Camarón de la Isla’s second album and an important document of his early collaboration with Paco de Lucía. Rooted in established flamenco forms while already revealing the distinctive vocal personality that would transform modern cante, the recording includes soleá, tangos, bulerías, seguiriyas, fandangos, and other palos. The album is particularly significant for the Baxtale Archive as a document of Gitano musical expression within twentieth-century Spanish flamenco and of the formative artistic partnership between Camarón and Paco de Lucía.
