A richly illustrated survey of Roma communities across different regions of the world, combining historical and ethnographic commentary with extensive documentary photography by Dragoljub Zamurović. The volume presents Roma life through portraits, domestic environments, occupations, rituals, music, travel, and everyday social settings, while also addressing broader questions of migration, identity, cultural continuity, and discrimination. Published in the late twentieth century, the book reflects an ambitious attempt to portray the diversity of Roma communities internationally and constitutes a significant visual and documentary source for the study of Roma representation.
